Every thursday night, me and a group of my frieds have a time of worship. We invite any of our other friends who would appreciate it and even people who may not be a follower of Christ. What we do is just sing as loud as we possibely can. This is how we enjoy worsiping. It is your time alone with God. Even though there may be other people there, it is so personal when you're alone with God and nobody is there to interupt.
Before we started up I was reading a passage that explained exactly what we were trying to do. The verse is found in John 4:23-24 and it says:
"But an hour is coming, and is now here, whe the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worsip Him. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Worsihp is not only just singing, it is a life style. But, when we do worship by singing music it is because we music is the only thing that us human beings can create that is truly invisible. God too is obviously invisible. What would be greater than for us humans to give the creater of the universe the one invisible thing that he gave us, back to him. It is our invisible language to God. So every Thursday night is just a Heaven Practice!
